About Us
I’ve been hooping since the summer of 2003. I discovered hula hooping at a music festival called Evolve. I hooped there for the first time and then made my own hoop soon after using a very bare bones website for information. I tried to buy a handmade hoop from eBay but there were absolutely none listed. This made me become resourceful and my first hula hoop was born! It was in the summer of 2004 that I first made hula hoops for sale.
This website is created with great love for hula hooping and the community it houses. I hope to develop a resource that others can easily use. I found it frustrating when I was first learning new tricks and there were no websites that listed all of the moves. I didn’t know the names so couldn’t even google them. I am particularly proud of my Hula Hoop Tutorial resource. Thanks to those that have helped me grow it.
You can often find me at HoopCity. Click the badge below to visit that website. There are a lot of hoopers that use it.
